They are all on Facebook groups.
Oh good grief, Facebook is all Russian trolls and spies. It's worse than Chaturbate.

Why Reduced Activity on Forum

I suspect they are still implanting ICDs at record rates so why aren't people lining up to join the group? Perhaps heart disease is not getting all the attention it "deserves?" (causes of death in US vs what people search for vs what people get to read about) https://twitter.com/BillGates/status/113...

Re: where is Leah...!!!

I was just here offering wise counsel and I'm sure I noticed Leah was logged in although she is not now and did not post. She must be ill, but alive.

Re: ICD / CRT Discharge Instructions circa 2011 AD

If you rapidly shake your head your head side to side, the file becomes readable. They gave me the instructions in March 2011 although it appears they were standardized and offered since 2007. Modern medicine. My impression is you never really remember what they tell you while you are waiting to get...

ICD / CRT Discharge Instructions circa 2011 AD

Cleaning out a desk drawer and discovered a set of instructions when I got my new CRT. How could I not share. My first ICD was implanted in 2006 and was replaced in 2011 with an upgrade to a CRT. A CRT involves a bit more skill to install (extra wire and all), but basically it is just a Lexus among ...

Re: codman59

Well, this is certainly sad news. Codman59 was a class act and will clearly be missed. I just spent some time reading a number of his previous posts (hint: one can search on author). Some in admiration of Chrissy's determination and some more recently only hinting about his deteriorating health. An ...

Re: whadda yah think?

Have you Googled “how to die by chf”? Some interesting articles. I’m not yet fully absorbing your particular goal, but I enjoyed your introductory summary of how you got here by crashing into a tree so I’m sure there will be some pleasure on reading how you’re leaving. :big-hug: Meanwhile, anyone se...

Re: whadda yah think?

Sounds like an excellent idea and you are a good writer for the most part. Still confused about your topics. Will you be including recent conversations with Chrissy and Bob? Was there anything Bob posted during his transition that would give you a headstart? Do you have a subject title yet so we can...

Colin...you do realize your post is buried so far in the depths of the forum that only a senior and resourceful idiot would ever see it, let alone read it.

Congratulations though on your continued survival with amiodarone.

Re: Glory be...

Sheep, goat I don’t care, having the time of my life. Some local farmers have been complaining. I just tell them to grow soy instead. Our government will reimburse for any shortfalls just like they do for asshole senators like Iowa, Grassley. Ain’t socialism great? BTW just saw movie Long Shot, pret...

Re: Our friend Chrissie....

Well this news on Chrissy f*cking sucks. I'm sensing a pattern here. The best ones here die young. Maybe someone should write a song. On a somewaht positive note, at least that should mean Robbo and Kansas Al will be around here for some time. My heartfelt sympathies to Lauren and others here who we...

OT ? Measles

Just read the following about the measles "outbreak." Anyone doing anything (besides shooting the anti vaxxers)? People vaccinated in the United States since 1989 would most likely have received two doses of the combined measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) shot under federal guidelines, and that is sti...

EF accuracy

I know that an EF calculated via an Echo can vary depending on who is doing the reading. I’m curious where nuclear PET scan’s stand in relation. Are they also an “educated” guess? How about an Echo done with contrast?

Robo......did you have any "new" symptoms with Afib ? Mine was sudden leg weakness and SOB when bending over or climbing stairs. nothing really new just increased syncope (fainting) extreme fatigue, discomfort and confusion. I must say I was surprised I am now pacing in the right atrium which appar...

Some sad news for some

With some regret, I report ( CNN )If you're one of the third of all humankind who drinks alcohol, take note: There's no amount of liquor, wine or beer that is safe for your overall health, according to a new analysis of 2016 global alcohol consumption and disease risk. Alcohol was the leading risk f...
