Re: Energy after battery replacement

Robo pop I did get the manual. Medtronic’s rep was there during the switch. They wouldn’t let me have the old one citing hospital policy. They did show it to me. Alan, unfortunately i’m no help to your confusion. I don’t know much about technical side of things. The one thing he did say was he tweak...

Prior to my valve surgery, my EF was 13% and we waited 3 months prior to the ICD implantation which at that time the EF was at 30%. My last echo EF was 55% and they said although they couldn’t remove th...

Leah—I bruise Lot. I used Epson Salt lotion (found in foot cream aisle) and arnica oil. Seems to help.

Re: OT: WTF

It’s hot in TN.
Someone should have warned me that the ICD sounds like an ambulance when it’s battery replacement time. I. Scheduled for replacement on the 27th. Nervous about it. Praying for no complications.

Wishing your good health and lessening of symptoms....

Re: Viscious Cycle

One of the best products I’ve used for leg cramps is CALM. It’s a magnesium drink mix. You can get it with or without calcium and with or without flavor. There’s also tonic water that’s gross to drink, but has quinine in it that can help. I do use lotions that are essential oil based that can help m...

So thankful surgery did well. I’m sure you will do well with the LVad as it seems you’ve got a positive outlook and that does more for recovery than anything. Keep us posted and know we are praying for the best outcome.
