Yes, originally they thought it was staph infection and had antibiotics and infusion. Got better then had Flu type A and UTI at exact same time and my scar spot came back. I’m under infectious disease dr care..it’ll work out. I just think it’s a hard healing spot.

Bruce-
You mention having bcbs. I would call and request case management from the bcbs. They do that. The person helps navigate procedure v insurance approval. So I’d take the concern to them so they could help you with it.

Robo pop I did get the manual. Medtronic’s rep was there during the switch. They wouldn’t let me have the old one citing hospital policy. They did show it to me. Prior to my valve surgery, my EF was 13% and we waited 3 months prior to the ICD implantation which at that time the EF was at 30%.
