Yeah i couldnt agree more. The news agencies in the U.S. are very bad about this. Its really frustrating the lack of effort they put into there own research and reporting.

Re: Shocks

I have had one in my sleep. I woke up right after not really knowing why i woke up. I did feel like something had been wrong and i certainly felt some sort of sensation, but didnt put it together as a shock. It was a couple days later when my monitering clinic called me after my Merlin home transmit...

Re: Thoughts...

That makes absolutely no since to me. i would have to agree that if you meet the criteria for a crt why in the world wouldnt it be a D. There is pretty particular criteria to qualify for a CRT dont under stand why anyone would have a p in first place, as the D could do exact same thing and add the h...

Re: Ablation on Tuesday 9/20

I had a abalation for vt and pvcs in March of this year. My crt-d would not function correctly for bi vent pacing due to interference from these irregular rthymns. After having this done i have now been off of sotalol for almost 6 months. and my bi vent pacing is now effectively pacing at 98%. Ive b...

Re: Warfarin Users: Doctors and Political Crap

Im a warfarin for life user. Mine has been controlled for years now. the only time i have frequent visits is if Ive been taken off for a procedure. Other than that i get my finger poked every 6 weeks. Not a big deal to me. Have been on it since 2010.

Re: Grrrrr Still having problems with Warfarin and INR

I been on warfarin since 2010. and certainly took a while to figure out the right dose. I generally stay between 2.0 and 2.7 its frustrating as there are things that can effect it. anything containing vitamin k plays havoc on the readings. They eventually get you dialed in hopefully.
