Re: Reaction to being shocked

^^^^listen to Leedur^^^^ If you have had heart issues and are recommended one then please get one. The alternative is not pleasant. Chances are it won't ever need to do anything as is the case for most people, but if it does, it will have saved your life. As for arc welding, I have! I've used a mig ...

Re: good thoughts..and best wishes for Chrissie..

Chrissy,

Look on the bright side, having a feeding tube means you don't have to actually eat hospital food, which I'm sure is as horrible down under as it is here!

Get well soon !

Thinking of you.

Re: Beginning an exercise program after getting an ICD

As has been mentioned endurance atheletes seem to be prone to A-FIB (atrial fibrillation) and other heart electrical issues. The wonderful thread full of wonderful things

Right then! Sometimes we forget the important things in life. Therefore I propose that this thread to be a place to post up anything as long as it is wonderful and or funny. I'll start. https://media.giphy.com/media/goIcmbcUMEnyE/giphy.gif https://thumbsnap.com/i/uogkOAdS.gif?1120 https://twistedsif...

Re: Amiodarone and Quinidine together

No idea as to that drug interaction.

I'm on 200mg of Amio and a hefty dose of betas (you mention betas in your other post), could you have been wrongly advised on the what the other drug is?
