New Study on ICD's - Good news we already know!!

Post by efpat » December 17th, 2009, 3:45 pm

A new study was just published. A review was posted on theheart.org.

http://www.theheart.org/article/1035475.do

Confirms what we already know. People with ICD's live longer. They compared heart failure patients discharged with ICD vs. patients without ICDs. All cause mortality was much lower in the ICD group.

Good article: except they used their famous typical medical response which makes us think it is better but the more you read you are not sure what you read. If you understood me you might understand the study results. huhhh
