This recipe is very rich in omega-3's, fatty fish oils and is grilled not fried - wait for your local store to put these tuna steaks on sale and important: make sure they are sushi grade because this is a seared grilling.
3 Tuna steaks, 1 1/2 - 2 inches thick
Olive oil- 1/2 cup
Low sodium Soy sauce- 1 cup
Lime juice- 1/2 cup
Minced fresh garlic- 3-4 cloves
Mix all ingredients minus the fish together with a whisk to thoroughly blend. Place steaks in a shallow bowl, and cover with marinade. Refrigerate for 45 minutes, not longer as you do not want the soy sauce to overpower the tuna. Heat up your outside grill to searing heat (HOT), treat the grill with a olive oil cloth so the steaks don't stick and place steak on the grill. Brush with remaining marinade, cooking about 3 minutes on each side with the top open on the grill. It is fine for your steaks to be almost raw in the middle because you can eat this tuna raw, it is sushi grade. Garnish with some fresh grilled vegetables and Enjoy!
