One Man's Decision - S-ICD or T-ICD

Post by 4EverHopeful » October 31st, 2016, 11:59 am

God's prescription for the heart:
O LORD, You have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit
down or stand up. You know my every thought when far away. You chart the path ahead of me
and tell me where to stop and rest. Every moment You know where I am.
Psalm 139:1-3

Interesting, I don't think I had ever heard of a "normal" ICD as being a T-ICD. Overall it does give a clear description of the differences. I still prefer the good old ICD.

Medtronic-Visia AF implanted 7-8-2016 stayed with the with 6947 Sprint Quattro Secure lead. Original ICD implant 2-4-2009. ICD turned off 10-6-17 as stage 4 lung cancer taking over.
Major heart attack, carcinogenic shock and quad bypass 10-13-08 post myocardial infarction, old inferior MI complicated by shock and CHF, combined, Atherosclerosis, abdominal aortic Aneurysm, Seroma 7 cm, left leg. Stent in the left main vein 10-7-2014

ridiculous how many names the marketing wienies can come up with to sell their products. Reminds me of Intel. They used so many acronyms in their business they published a 400 page book of acronym definitions for employees and suppliers to use. Bottom line, an ugly duckling is still a prince...

Er, the reporting source is Fox News which means, well you know what it means and if you don't, try this.
