Christmas 2015 has taken its toll of 2 of our members

Post by Ozchrissy » December 26th, 2014, 6:11 pm

Helen (Mykidsmom) is in Hospital, mild heart attack and VT. Her device fired so we still have her with us. Willie said she will be in for a few more days for tests, so hopefully they will get to the bottom of her problem, that she has been having for the past 6 weeks.

Also Eric Sadler is also in Hospital, he had a stroke on Christmas Day. Not much news about how he is going, but he is posting on facebook himself so appears to be coping. Hopefully we will know more in a few days.

Hope everyone else got through the Christmas period with no other events, but I am sure we all needed to be careful and look after ourselves.

Yeah spending Christmas in the Hospital with a stroke, not my way of spending a fun holiday.
Thanks all for the prayers and FB comments. I too will be praying for Helen.

Hugs.

Eric

So mainly my vision affected. I have lost some periphery vision (damn lucky))But typing on computers and reading a computer screen have just become one of my least favorite things to do. I am sure overtime I will adjust, but for now I am just glad to be home.

Thanks for letting us know how you are doing Eric. I hope you will be able to at least keep up with us by reading what we are up to. With today's medical break troughs I am sure you will get better sooner rather than later.

Take care and heal :hugg:

Glad things haven't changed around here. :)

Funny thing is, that is about the first thing I have posted on FB in quite some time. Only reason I did was because my wife uses it all the time and my whole family knew I was in the hospital, so I felt I needed to post an update and let them know I hadn't kicked the bucket yet, that they could recall the lawyers and the attorneys as I wasn't giving up my fortune just yet!

(that was really a joke  smilebounce dancee dancee )

I actually had gotten away from using computers for the most part except for work.
Trying to unplug some and not finding it successful.. :)
