My sister was on lyrica and had all kinds of side effects her doctor ignored. Being old school she had blind faith in doctors. Her husband and I are convinced thats what killed her.

Make damn sure you study all the warnings and document what's going on...sometimes the cure is worse than the disease.

Glad to brighten your holiday

My husband was given this drug last month for a nerve problem and almost immediately began experiencing nasty side effects. He became very depressed, which I guess is one of the most common side effects, and had to stop taking it.

Maybe you need to go into the psychiatric hospital for some time.

Hopefully the side effects will be short-lived! Also, watch for fluid weight gain with the Lyrica - one problem just leads to another with some of these meds! I’m thinking of trying Cymbalta- avoiding Gabapentin and Lyrica. Have you ever tried Cymbalta? It’s a newer antidepressant that’s being prescribed for pain. I’m sure it has all kinds of mentally disturbing side effects as well! Hope this soon works out for you!

You know I can't but wonder how you can differentiate between side effects and what we know is normal for you? Just sayin...
